Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 15, 2025 · Last updated: August 15, 2026

1. Overview

Safe4us Locksmith (“Safe4us,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website located at https://safe4.us (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, maintain, protect, and disclose information obtained from visitors to the Site and from individuals who contact us to request locksmith services.

By accessing or using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please do not use the Site.

2. Information You Provide to Us

We may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you contact us or request locksmith services. How you contact us affects what we receive:

  • Website quote request form: Information submitted through the form on our contact page (see Section 3).
  • Phone or text: Information you choose to share during the call or message, such as your name, phone number, service location, and details about the service you need.
  • Email: Information included in your message, such as your name, email address, phone number, and service details.

Depending on how you contact us, this may include your name, phone number, email address, physical address or service location, vehicle information (for automotive locksmith services), and details about the locksmith service you are requesting.

We collect information that is reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, review your service request, provide pricing or scheduling information, confirm authorization where applicable, prevent abuse, and maintain business records related to our services.

3. Website Quote Request Form

The Site includes a quote request form on the contact page. When you submit that form, we collect the following fields:

  • Name (required)
  • Phone number (required)
  • Email address (optional)
  • Service type (optional selection from a predefined list)
  • Service address (required)
  • Reason / description (required — tell us what you need help with)

Form submissions are used to respond to your request, review the service you described, and follow up about pricing or scheduling. Form field contents are delivered to Safe4us through our backend processing (see Section 11) and are not sent to Google Analytics.

The service address you provide is used to review and organize your locksmith request and to plan mobile service. We do not publish your service address on the Site or share it with the public.

If you prefer not to use the form, you may call, text, or email us using the contact information in Section 18.

4. Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, certain technical information may be collected automatically by our hosting environment, web server, or analytics tools. This may include:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Referring URL
  • Pages visited and time spent on each page
  • Date and time of your visit
  • Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet)

Server and hosting logs are used for operational purposes, including maintaining Site security, diagnosing errors, and protecting against abuse. When Google Analytics 4 is enabled on the Site, additional usage information is collected as described in Section 5.

5. Google Analytics 4

When configured for the Site, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google. GA4 helps us understand how visitors use the Site — for example, which pages are viewed and how users navigate between pages.

GA4 is loaded only when a measurement ID is configured for the deployment environment. It uses Google's gtag.js library and may set first-party cookies (such as _ga and related identifiers) on your device. Google may also receive technical information such as IP address, browser characteristics, page URLs, and interaction events.

The Site tracks page views on initial load and on in-site navigation. We also send custom events for certain interactions, including:

  • call_now_click — when you click a phone link (includes page location and button label; may include a service category if shown on the button)
  • email_click — when you click an email link (includes page location and button label)
  • google_maps_click — when you click a Google Maps link (includes page location and button label)
  • get_free_quote_click — when you click a quote call-to-action (includes page location and button label; may include a service category)
  • form_start — when you begin interacting with the quote form (includes page location and, if selected, service type only)
  • quote_form_submit_success — when a quote form submission succeeds (includes page location and, if you selected one, the service type only — not your name, phone, email, address, or message text)

We do not send form field contents or other personally identifying details from quote submissions to GA4. Event parameters may include the page path and general interaction context.

Based on our current Site configuration, we have not enabled Google Analytics advertising features, remarketing, or Google Signals in our analytics code. If that changes, we will update this policy.

Google's processing of data is governed by Google's policies. You can learn more about how Google uses data at Google's partner sites policy. You may also install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or adjust cookie settings in your browser.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Site may use cookies or similar technologies. Cookies are small data files stored on your device by your web browser.

When Google Analytics 4 is enabled, Google may set analytics cookies to distinguish visitors and remember session information. These cookies support measurement of Site usage as described in Section 5.

The Site does not currently display a cookie consent banner or use a third-party consent management platform. You can configure your browser to refuse or delete cookies. Blocking analytics cookies may limit our ability to measure Site usage but generally does not prevent you from submitting a quote request or contacting us by phone, text, or email.

7. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your inquiries and service requests
  • To review the service you described and provide pricing or scheduling information
  • To provide, schedule, and deliver locksmith services
  • To confirm authorization or eligibility where applicable (for example, property access or vehicle key work)
  • To send service confirmations, follow-ups, or appointment reminders
  • To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site
  • To measure Site usage and interaction patterns through Google Analytics when enabled
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
  • To maintain business records related to our services
  • To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes

When you submit a service request, we may contact you by phone, SMS/text, or email about that specific request — including clarifying details, confirming scope or pricing, and arranging service. We do not use the quote form to enroll you in marketing or promotional messaging.

We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making or profiling.

8. How We May Disclose Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration. We may share information in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: With trusted third parties who assist in operating our business, subject to appropriate confidentiality and security obligations. Based on the current Site configuration, this may include website hosting providers, email delivery services used to route quote requests (SMTP), optional Telegram notification channels used for internal alerts when configured, and Google (for Analytics measurement as described in Section 5 when a measurement ID is configured).
  • Legal requirements: When required by law, court order, subpoena, or other legal process.
  • Protection of rights: To protect the rights, safety, or property of Safe4us, our customers, or the public.
  • Business transfer: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

When you use the Site with Google Analytics enabled, Google receives usage and event data as an analytics provider. That sharing supports Site measurement, not the sale of your personal information.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including responding to requests, providing services, maintaining business records, and meeting legal or accounting obligations. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and why it was collected.

Server logs, form delivery records, and analytics data may be retained for different periods based on operational needs, provider settings, and applicable law. When information is no longer needed for those purposes, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

10. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the personal information we collect. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is entirely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

11. Form Submission Processing

Quote request submissions are transmitted from your browser to our server over an encrypted connection when your browser supports HTTPS. Our server validates submitted fields, applies basic abuse prevention measures, and routes successful requests to configured delivery channels (such as email and, when enabled, an internal messaging notification).

We do not use a third-party CAPTCHA service on the quote form. Failed, invalid, or abusive submissions may be logged at a high level for security and troubleshooting. Form contents are not transmitted to Google Analytics.

12. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not operated or controlled by Safe4us, such as Google Maps. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any external sites you visit.

13. Do Not Track Signals

Some web browsers transmit “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals. At this time, the Site does not respond to DNT signals because there is no universally accepted standard for how to interpret them. Analytics tools configured on the Site may continue to collect usage information despite DNT settings unless you block analytics cookies or use provider opt-out tools described in Section 5.

14. Children’s Privacy

The Site and our locksmith services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will take steps to delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the information in Section 18.

15. Your Choices and Requests

You may contact us to request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate information, request deletion where applicable, or ask us to stop contacting you about a service request. Use the phone number or email in Section 18. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.

California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA / CPRA as described in Section 16.

16. California Privacy Notice

If you are a California resident, you may have certain rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion of your information, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.

We collect personal information to provide locksmith services and operate the Site. We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We may share usage data with Google Analytics as described in Section 5. To exercise your rights or ask questions, please contact us using the information in Section 18.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the “Effective date” and “Last updated” dates at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
